At present there are twenty boys who are being cared for with lodging, clothing, schooling and three meals a day.
The boys have regularly been given medical care. Some of the boys came to Friendship Shelter with malaria and skin diseases.
They have been taken care of and are doing well.
Some of these boys are orphans or have a single parent. All come from labor background—who work all day in paddy-fields and earn very little.
The boys are enrolled in Alipur Elementary School
